Shutters can be crafted to fit virtually any shape of window or door: arch top, angle top, circular, bi-pass or bi-fold for sliding glass doors, cut outs for French door handles, etc. They can also be motorized.

Shutters typically come in three different louver sizes: 2 1/2", 3 1/2", and 4 1/2", with 3 1/2" being the most common. The frames that hold the louvers are beveled in a variety of styles to go with many different decors. You can also get shutters without a visible tilt bar on the front of the shutter.
